This tape is a continuation of a formal interview with Boris (Berl) Goikhman. (Part 2 of 2. See MDV 775) The tape begins with Boris answering a series of dialectological questions. Boris concludes the interview, singing a few verses from “Makheteyneste mayne” and “Bin ikh mir a shnayderl,” songs he knows from Yiddish records.

The camera cuts to street scenes and old Jewish homes of Sharhorod.

Toward the end of the tape, the researchers are seen in the home of Abram Khaimovich Vaisman in Sharhorod examining the family’s old books and setting up for an interview. (Part 1 of 4. See Accession # 09-010.43-F MDV 654, MDV 655, and MDV 656)
